I have a bubbly little boy and am awaiting the arrival of my second child.
I’ve been writing about baby names, parenting, and family stuff for almost eight years, inspired by pregnancy, new motherhood, and now toddlerhood.
What started as research for my own blog about baby names and pregnancy care grew into writing for other parents, and this website (tinytruimphs.com) is where I now share my experience with you.
In the past, I’ve contributed to a few parenting sites and started this blog about a year and a half ago to connect with other parents and expecting parents.
How it all started?
When I was pregnant with my first child, the amount of information I came across online seemed overwhelming, some helpful, some ambiguous, some less reliable.
After a lot of research and hours and hours of trial and error on my own part, I decided that I would like to be a source of support for other parents.
Whether it’s choosing a baby name, understanding the rollercoaster that is pregnancy, or how to cope with newborns and toddlers, I can share everything I’ve (and continue to) learnt along the way.
On this blog, I put research, first-hand knowledge and useful guidance together to make the parenting process a little bit easier and a lot more fun.
My list of names is extensive, but having read books on parenting, and talked to experts, for years I have gained some insight.
Writing for other parenting sites taught me to be a good researcher, and my experience as a mom helped me gain first-hand knowledge of many of the things I write about.
I’ve experienced a lot of pregnancy, infant and toddler care issues — from morning sickness to sleep regressions to working full-time while parenting.
I also know how valuable it is to have good, realistic advice from someone who’s been there.
A bit about me beyond parenting 🙂
Outside of motherhood, I also adore home decor and nursery decorating and looking for ways to make our family space feel comfortable, functional, and inspiring.
I think a peaceful space at home can make a big difference in your family life.
I’m also a bit of a DIY-er too — whether it’s arranging my kid’s playroom or making custom nursery accessories, I love making our home feel special.
